Congratulations eMotion Dance! We must have had the luck of the irish with us last Saturday at the competition! It could be that we just have the best, cutest dancers around... and it could be that our teachers are the most creative and talented choreographers in the state... and it could be that our dances are the most original to be found... and it could be that our costumes are the best...but in any case... WE ROCKED THE HOUSE at the Aspire Dance Pro competition! Way to go eMotion!
We are so proud of everyones hard work. Keep it up and don't miss class. Our teachers will be fine tuning over the next weeks so that our dances look even better next month. We had a few little gliches here and there, as is to be expected at the first competition, but it is clear the judges hardly noticed. The director of the competition found me after the competition to tell me that while in the judges room, the talk was all about eMotion. Our name and dances were considered in almost every case while choosing overalls. That was quite a compliment. They couldn't give us everything, but certainly gave us the lions share of big awards.
*Our new company sweats were a big hit with the dancers! It was fun to recognize our dancers at the competition in eMotion purple. Competition Results at a glance:
In the mini, junior & teen age groups combined there were only 11 Diamonds given the whole day and eMotion received 7 of the diamonds!! The other four diamonds were spread out between the other 8 studios. In this competition even getting a Ruby was a huge honor!
